Meet Romeo, a 3-year-old husky seeking his forever home in Scottsdale. |
Interesting Facts |
|
Romeo, a charming 3-year-old husky, is eagerly searching for his forever home in Scottsdale.
After being rescued from a local shelter, Romeo faced challenges adjusting to kennel life, leading to stress and anxiety.
Now in a stable foster environment, he's beginning to relax and embrace a routine.
Initially cautious, Romeo becomes deeply loyal and affectionate once he trusts you.
He has a medium energy level, enjoys playing with both small and large dogs, and is comfortable in a crate.
Romeo is working on his leash manners and can be a bit anxious on walks, but consistent outings are helping him build confidence.
He's also learning to overcome occasional indoor marking and skittishness in new environments, responding well to redirection and quick to learn.
Romeo loves mealtime, hikes, car rides, belly rubs, fetch, and is a big fan of kiddie pools.
He would thrive in an active home, whether with a young couple, a family with children aged 3 and up, or a household with other playful dogs.
Due to a noticeable prey drive, a cat-free home would be best.
Romeo has made incredible progress and just needs a little patience to continue building his confidence.
